I wanted to give the school 5 stars because I am a former student of 3 years. Looking back now(currently in the 11th grade) I feel as though my time there was not in vain, I learned alot met some lifelong friends and the only reason I stopped going was because of relocation of my family

This school is by far the least creative, least inclusive, least challenging school Shelby county probably has to offer. You would think because of its location it could possibly be worth something but don't let the location mislead you in any way. The staff is not friendly to the parents and the teachers seem to be there to collect a check. I've paid to be in PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) every year and have not receive a single correspondence about a meeting or an event in the 4 years my child has attended. This school does the bare minimum to get by to receive funding. They are not focused on benchmark skills necessary to your child's overall growth. Please send your child elsewhere. No extracurricular activities are available. The couple that are are not offered to every child. Their running club members were drawn from a hat so they say, leaving several kids disappointed and not everyone can sign up for piano. Wonder how they choose who gets in? Your guess is as good as mine. Trust me keep looking.

no sports, no extracurricular activities. My child was advanced for his grade but was still forced to waste time doing same things over and over again. The schools must stimulate their students to encourage their development. Teacher-parent communication is not encouraged. My child was bullied by other kids (elementary school!) and the teacher says she didn't notice. I am forced to trust the school in not ruining my child's life but every day my child is in the school i am worried.
