School Reviews

I attended Logan from the fall of 1939 (4 1/2 yrs old - Kindergarten) until 1947 when family moved to WV. My father was a teacher at Moline HS. I have many, many fond memories of those days. There was a store across from Logan called "Logan Drop-In" (think named by the kids). We could buy candy starting at a penny so we loved it. I loved the school - one of my teachers was Miss Oberling - she was a great teacher. I remember an inside gymnasium which was super nice and I think rare for a grade school. I have great memories of those early school days during World War II. We lived at 2440 14th Ave. I cannot find a historical brief of Logan for some reason. My email is: jandfran35@gmail.com
