I really love this school, The band is awesome, my family love the band in and out of town. The band director is doing a wonderful job, he is the best i've seen at Blanche Ely High. It's a blessing to see someone so concern and involve with the students, and his works shows. I have really been observing the band alots this year 2010-2011, and notice that the band is not getting the support that it should like the other High School I've seen. I have some concern with that. When I say support, I mean from the the Principle, someone that should be proud to have a staff like Mr. Beakford who not only teach music but have change lots of students life! I have heard great testimony from many of them that said wonder things about Mr. Beckford, stating that they wouldn' have known where they would be if he hadn't came in their life. That is a true blessing. I just wanna say to Mr. Beckford, please keep up the good work, and just know it was the Lord that sent you at Blanche Ely High for a reason. Please continue to touch our children lives, they really need many people like you! Thank you for all your support to our children! We all love You :-)
